At our film festival many of you had expressed a desire to buy DVDs of the documentaries that were being screened.
We are happy to announce that Cinema of Resistance, Kolkata Chapter, is currently a distributor of DVDs of documentary films by Anand Patwardhan and Sanjay Kak in Kolkata. On our purchase list is : Prisoners of Conscience, Bombay our City (Hamara Shahar), Father Son and Holy War, Ram ke Naam, War and Peace, Jai Bhim Comrade - by Anand Patwardhan; and Words on Water, Jashn-e-Azadi, Red Ant Dream by Sanjay Kak.
We are in the process of procuring more important documentaries for distribution among interested audience. In near future we will be adding more titles to this list. Please contact us at cor.kolkata@gmail.com or http://corkolkata.wordpress.
Please note: At the moment we are only able to sell to individuals, not institutions/organizations. Also note that Anand's films are still not listed on our webpage - however they are already available for purchase, and will appear on the webpage soon.
