Your support needed for hot rolling mills workers of Delhi

Your support needed for hot rolling mills workers of Delhi

As you know, factory owners of hot rolling mills in Wazirpur, Delhi had signed a written agreement accepting all the demands of workers on June 27 in the labour office, but they refused to implement it the next day. The workers forced them to come to the negotiations again on June 28 and the again signed the agreement after 8-hours long talks in presence of labour officials. But today (June 29) the mill owners again threw away the agreement and refused to open factory gates. The workers are agitated and have started locking the gates.
Women and children from the homes of workers are asembling on factory gates and the workers are planning for a huge Mazdoor Satyagrah.
The arrogant factory owners want to create a situation for police repression by provoking the workers. The workers are steadfast in their resolve to carry their struggle forward. We are appealing to all the progressive, justice-loving citizens to send emails, fax to the Lt. Governor of Delhi, Shri Najeeb Jung and call his numbers to pressurise him to ensure compliance of the labour office and enforce the factory owners to run the mills as per the written agreement.
