With anger over humiliation, Dr. Joshi seething, 
With count of ‘Aaya Raam -Gayaa Raam’ increasing,
With corruption of Congress, Sonia and Rahul gasping,
With Mulayam-Akhlesh addressing a bearded gathering,
With a strong hope, and full force, Kejriwal also racing,
With Muslims devising all means for B.J.P. defeating,
With every candidate working out ways for electioneering, 
With Varansi as a centre of communal-secular sloganeering,
With Prime Ministerial ambitions, hundreds of leaders burning,
With Mayawati appearing occasionally with her usual crowing,
With varied comments, cartoons and slurs, social media buzzing,
With pre-election period never having been so much fascinating,
With Dr.M.K.Sherwani also, teaching, writing, and really enjoying.
